Can you explain the process of Renting ?
The general rules for the rental process are, identify your property, contact the Agent, pay a fee to the Agent for viewing, accept the property, pay a security deposit, pay Agents commission fee, sign the rental agreement then move in for a period of usually 6 to 12 months with possibility to extend the term.
Viewing fees can range from 300D to 2000D or more usually dependant on the distance the Agent has to travel to the property. Agent's commission fee can be 5000D to 15,000D or more often dependant on property value and fairness of the particular Agent. Refundable security deposits can range from 10,000D to 25,000D or more often dependent on the value of the property and the quality of fixtures and fittings.
Dealing directly with the owner will often remove the need for a viewing fee and deposit negotiation can be easier than going through a 3rd party.
Is it safe to rent from your advertisers ?
Obviously we cannot provide guarantees but all advertisers on this platform have been given access by our submissions team. Random Agent's without a viable business profile cannot advertise on this website. So the answer is yes it is safe to rent from our advertisers however you must do your own due diligence as with any transaction.
Do I contact the Landord directly myself ?
If you are interested in an Owner Direct property. yes you will contact the Landlord yourself. Contact details will be displayed within the listing. If its an Agency property the same will apply.
